Larissa Kramarek


*1992 in Hannover, lives and works in Vienna since 2011.

She studied Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna under Anna Viebrock, as well as Art and Digital Media under Constanze Ruhm. Both before and during her studies, she worked at various cultural institutions in Germany and Austria, including the Burgtheater Wien, Schauspielhaus Frankfurt, and Schauspiel Hannover.


Since completing her diploma in January 2019, Larissa Kramarek has been working as a freelance scenographer and costume designer. In collaboration with other artists, collectives, and institutions, she develops projects and collaborations across Europe, including in Vienna, Frankfurt, Hannover, Amsterdam, Barcelona, and Berlin.


Larissa Kramarek works across disciplines, spanning both the performing arts and the visual arts. Her work encompasses set and costume design, lighting concept, video design, as well as technical planning and realisation. Alongside her artistic practice, she has extensive experience in cultural management and production, which she deepened at Studio Barbis Ruder. In 2025, she additionally completed the Cultural Management program at the Institut für Kulturkonzepte Vienna with distinction.
